CAREER
Avinash presented his dish, ‘Traditional Dessert- Gaintha Pitha,’ as a Ph.D. student specialising in Horticulture. Avinash revealed that he wanted to advance agriculture and cooking by creating dishes that combined the two. Avinash’s dish included pandan leaves, coral jasmine-infused milk, and Indian almonds. The majority of these ingredients were grown by Avinash, and the elements added to the dish were added by edible flowers.
After tasting the dish, all three judges were impressed by it and applauded his presentation. Avinash was the first contestant to enter MasterChef India’s kitchen.
He enjoys cooking and is a Ph.D. student pursuing a Ph.D. in Horticulture. By combining his passion for cooking and his studies in Horticulture, he is doing something for India. Avinash Patnik has come to India’s popular cooking show Master Chef India to realise a childhood dream.
