EDUCATION
Gori Nagorii finished her schooling at Ghotiya Higher Secondary School in Nagaur, Rajasthan. Later, she attended Jai Narayan Vyas University in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, to pursue a graduate degree. Gori Nagori claims that she has enjoyed dancing since childhood and began practising while watching it on television. She revealed in a media interview that her family was opposed to her decision to become a dancer and used to scold, abuse, and lock her in a room so she couldn’t learn to dance. In the same conversation, she mentioned that people around her began telling her that her dance was vulgar and revealed her bad character.
When she was in class 8, she participated in her school’s cultural programme, which was attended by her father. Her teachers praised her performance after she won the dance competition. Her father began to support her after that, but her mother did not approve of her dancing. However, she kept on practising dancing steps at home and began performing at local dancing shows on many popular Rajasthani and Haryanvi songs. She gradually gained enormous popularity in both states.

On September 22, 2018, Gori Nagori performed to the superhit Rajasthani song “Le Photo Le,” sung by Rajasthani singer Nilu Rangili. Within a week of the song’s release, the video received over 120 million views. Gori Nagori later appeared in a number of well-known Rajasthani and Haryanvi songs, including Mahre Gaam Ka Pani (2021), Teri Meri Baat Bigad Jayegi (2021), Balma (2021), Saint (2020), Ganderi (2020), Chuni Gotedaar (2022), and Lahariyo (2022).
