Tina Phillip was born in the Indian capital of New Delhi. Her father’s profession required her to relocate to London when she was six years old. In her family, she has a younger brother named Rohan Philip.
Tina married her longtime love, Nikhil Sharma, in August 2019. The pair met while filming Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee. In the series, the latter portrayed the former’s sibling. They fall in love soon after the series ends, and after a few years of dating, they decide to get married.

Tina attended London’s Ladybreeigh Higher Secondary School. She then enrolled in the University of Manchester to complete her studies. Later, she choosed Chartered Accountant for her post-graduation degree.
