She made her acting debut in the Marathi movie “Madhu Ithe Choughe Tithe” in 2008.
She has acted in a number of Marathi movies, including Bernie (2015), Wanted Bayko No. 1, Saam Daam Dand Bhed (2014), and Guldasta (2011). (2016).
In 2009, she appeared on television for the first time in the Hindi programme “Chittod Ki Rani Padmini Ka Johur.”

CONTROVERSY
Tejaswini’s sister-in-law reported her to the police in 2021 for harassment and torture. Her sister-in-law complained to the police, saying, “My in-laws physically beat me. In the past, my sister-in-law has threatened and physically abused me. They’ve all treated me cruelly in different ways. I will provide the police with sufficient evidence, which I have. I firmly believe in the rule of law and am confident that justice will be served. My in-laws are pressing me to drop the lawsuit and forego legal representation. Our lives are in jeopardy.
Lonari claimed in an interview that the charge was false and that her sister-in-law was attempting to defraud her of money. She added in the interview, “The entire case is fraudulent and without foundation. I cannot harass her because I am a resident of Mumbai. She just named my parents and myself in the lawsuit, leaving out her spouse. False accusations are being made by my brother and his wife to seize the property. The couple had no other way to support themselves, therefore we were taking care of their financial needs. We informed them that we would no longer be able to provide them with financial assistance due to the COVID situation, though.
