CAREER
Megha Ghadge’s dance training was in the Lavani style. For more than 20 years, she has performed Lavani on stage.
She also runs the Meghmalhar Dance Academy, a folk dance school in Mumbai’s Andheri neighbourhood, where she teaches students Lavani and other Maharashtrian folk dances.
With the Marathi film Pachhadlela, in which she played the part of Soundarya Jawalkar, Megha Ghadge launched her acting career.
In the following years, she made appearances in the movies Maherchi Maaya (2007), Ghar Doghanch (2007), Chal Dhar Pakad (2010), Yedpat Gaon (2012), Sukanya Tu Aahes Tar Mi Aahe Aamhi Aahot (2012), Navra Maza Bhavra (2013), and Popat (2013).
She had a cameo in the 2017 Marathi film Dandit directed by Kailash Mali. She appeared in the movie Chalu Dya Tumcha that same year (2017). Ghadge has additionally acted in the Marathi movies Dombari and The Power (2021). (2022). Additionally, she has acted in a few Marathi short films, including Pahila Paus (2019), Ghungru (2020), and Badali (2021).
She had a guest appearance in one of the first season episodes of the Zee Marathi comedic reality TV series Chala Hawa Yeu Dya in 2017.
She has also been in an episode of the Mast Majjedar Kitchen Kallakar cooking reality TV series on ZEE5 (2022).
She made an appearance on the Marathi Taraka reality TV programme in 2019. She entered the Bigg Boss Marathi 4 house as a contestant in 2022. It is shown on Colors Marathi.
Megha Ghadge has also appeared in the music videos for a few Marathi songs, such as Adarsh Shinde’s Kata kirr.
