CAREER
In the 1990s, Surekha started her career. In 1995, she made her acting debut in the Marathi film Zakhmi Kunku. Saasuchi Maaya (1997), Aai Thor Tujhe Upkar (1999), Polisachi Bayko (2004), Bharat Aala Parat (2008), Khurchi Samrat (2010), Teen Bayka Fajiti Aika (2012), and Premaya Namah are among the Marathi films that brought her recognition (2017).
With the Marathi programme Teesra Dola, Surekha made her television debut in 1998. Her well-known Marathi serials include Runji, Swabhiman – Shodh Astitvacha, and Navri Mile Navrayala.
In 2017, she received the Subalda Award. At the Sanskruti Kala Darpan Awards in 2019, she was named Best Supporting Actress.
