Born in 1991 in Mysore, Karnataka, Anvita was raised in diverse locations such as Japan, England, and Kuwait. Anvita’s father, Dr. R. Sudarshana, holds the esteemed position of Ex. Advisor at the UN Security Council, while her mother is named Padma Sudarshan. Anvita’s talents extend beyond acting, as she has also participated in beauty pageants, including winning the title of Miss India Kuwait in 2011. She has further judged beauty pageants such as Miss India New York and Miss India USA in 2013.
EDUCATION
Her educational journey took her through schools and universities in Japan, India, Kuwait, the UK, and the USA. She holds a Masters Degree in Film Making from the New York Film Academy and has received advanced training from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
CAREER
In 2015, Anvita joined Monozygotics as an assistant director and subsequently worked with Vritant and Green TV India. In 2016, she co-founded a visual media company called “Haus of Slang.” Anvita’s directorial skills were showcased through her short film “Sadak Chaap,” which premiered at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival in 2015.
Anvita’s involvement in the industry extends beyond acting and filmmaking. She has served as a creative producer at Green TV India, contributing to the development of scripts and documentaries focusing on rural communities and village industries in collaboration with the Khadi and Village Industries Commission of the Government of India.
