Born in 1988 in Bengaluru, India, Leena initially pursued a career in dentistry before transitioning to acting. Hailing from a middle-class family, limited information is available about her parents. CAREER
Leena Maria Paul embarked on her acting journey in 2009 with the Malayalam-language crime thriller film “Red Chillies,” directed by Shaji Kailas. She portrayed the supporting character ‘Roya Kareena’ and had the opportunity to act alongside Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. She also appeared in the Malayalam film “Cobra,” sharing the screen with actors like Mammootty, Lalu Alex, Kaniha, and Padmapriya. Additionally, she featured in Saji Surendran’s comedy film “Husbands in Goa” (2012).
Leena Maria Paul gained prominence after her appearance in the Bollywood political action thriller film “Madras Cafe” (2013), starring John Abraham. She portrayed the character of a RAW Decoder in the movie. However, Leena’s involvement in fraudulent activities dates back to her entry into Bollywood. In another fraud case, Leena Maria Paul and Sukesh Chandrasekhar were arrested for extorting money from individuals by impersonating the grandson of a former chief minister. They sought bail in the case and subsequently relocated to Mumbai. While in Mumbai, the couple planned another scam, promising investors monthly returns of at least 20 percent on their investments ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 5 lakh. The Economic Offences Wing of Mumbai arrested both of them from Goregaon for their involvement in a Rs. 10 crore scam.
In 2018, Leena Maria Paul made headlines when a shootout incident occurred at her beauty parlour in Kochi on December 15. Underworld gangster Ravi Pujari attempted to extort money from Leena, resulting in a heated argument between them. The situation escalated when Ravi fired a pistol outside her beauty parlour.
