In 2000, Tarika started her career as a child artist. She has acted in over 35 Gujrati and Hindi TV serials, including Tamanna (Hindi), Confessions of an Indian Teenager (Hindi), Shyamli (Gujrati), Sajani Amaru Kon (Gujrati),etc. She has even done a drama named Udaan-Ek Saahas Katha, based on the story of mountaineer Arunima Sinha. She was featured in sone commercial TV advertisements like Gatishil Gujrat.
