Timothy Graf, a third-degree connection, currently holds the position of Managing Director and serves as the Head of Macro Strategy for EMEA at State Street. He has been in this role since September 2009, accumulating 14 years and 1 month of experience.

EDUCATION

Timothy Graf’s educational background includes earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance, General, from New York University in the years 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance, General, at The University of Akron from 1993 to 1997.

CAREER

Timothy is based in London, United Kingdom, where he operates as a senior strategist, specializing in developed market currency and interest rate markets. His expertise also extends to FX volatility, derivative strategy, and the generation of trade ideas. Additionally, Timothy manages a team of three strategists dedicated to G10 and EM interest rate and currency strategy within the State Street organization.

Before joining State Street, Timothy Graf was employed at Credit Suisse, where he served as the Director of FX Strategy from July 2001 to July 2009, accumulating 8 years and 1 month of experience. During his time at Credit Suisse, he was a senior FX strategist and headed the FX derivative strategy efforts. Timothy also gained significant client-facing experience, particularly within the leveraged investor community.
