Varun Gupta completed his primary education in the Commerce stream under the CBSE Board at D.T.E.A. Sr. Sec. School, Pusa Road. Following that, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi in 2009. A year later, he received a scholarship from Northumbria University, UK, where he pursued a Master’s degree in International Business, graduating from this institution, based in England, in 2011.
In September 2018, he had the honor of being awarded an Honorary PhD Degree by IIC University in Sri Lanka, presented by the Honorable Higher Education Commissioner from the Ministry of Education, Vocational & Technical Education.
CAREER
Dr. Varun Gupta achieved a remarkable milestone in July 2019 when he became the youngest recipient of an Honorary Degree, a “Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management,” from Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica. Furthermore, in August 2019, he was honored with The Campus Connect – REX Karmaveer Global Young Leaders Fellowship and Karmaveer Chakra Awards in collaboration with the United Nations.
Before embarking on his journey as an independent consultant, he gained valuable experience in senior-level positions within the Higher Education and Skill Development sectors, working across different continents. His guiding principle is to treat all living beings with respect, fostering the transition to sustainable ways of life.
