Before his tenure at Groww, Lalit gained valuable experience at Flipkart, a leading e-commerce platform in India. During his time at Flipkart from July 2013 to April 2016, he contributed significantly to various aspects of the business. One of his notable accomplishments was founding and leading Flipkart Quick, a logistics platform aimed at creating elastic supply for local deliveries. Under his leadership, Flipkart Quick scaled to 4,000 deliveries per day and built a team of 40 professionals, including product, business, and operations experts. Additionally, he played a key role in launching Flipkart Nearby, a consumer-facing app for local deliveries, and integrated Flipkart Quick with Ekart Logistics for last-mile and food deliveries. Lalit also contributed to building Flipkart’s marketplace, focusing on providing a wide selection of products with high service levels. His responsibilities included leading and building multiple products, such as seller order management and fulfillment, seller prioritization, and marketplace returns and disputes resolution.
Before his stint at Flipkart, Lalit founded Eduflix, a venture that spanned from March 2011 to June 2013. His diverse experience also includes working in Product and Engineering roles at Ittiam Systems Pvt Ltd for nearly seven years, from August 2004 to March 2011.
