Kamdar’s strong educational foundation includes a CA in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, an MBA in Finance from the Department of Financial Studies – University of Delhi, and a CSCS qualification from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. In her present capacity as the head of Consumer Lending at IDFC Bank, Shikha Hora Kamdar continues to build on her extensive professional background. Her leadership at IDFC Bank has resulted in strategic partnerships with several prominent lending players, including Flexmoney, Bank Bazaar, PaisaBazaar, Xiaomi, Ola, Paysense, Eduvanz, and Moneyview. These collaborations offer BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) and IDFC Personal Loans on their respective platforms, expanding the bank’s reach and services. Kamdar’s multifaceted career history includes her role as Business Head for Consumer Durable, Consumption, and X-Sell Loans at Capital First Limited, as well as her earlier position as Head of Wealth Management within the same institution. Before that, she served as Director and Head of Products & Advisory at Religare Macquarie Private Wealth, and she also held the position of Head of Investments at Deutsche Bank. Her professional journey began as a Product Manager for Investments at American Express SA, followed by her tenure as Manager of Credit Policy NR at Citibank and AVP for Mutual Funds at CRISIL Limited.
