Hina Nagarajan pursued her education at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, where she obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from 1985 to 1987. Prior to that, she completed her B.Com Hons in Commerce and Business at Delhi University, earning the distinction of securing the first grade, from 1982 to 1985. Additionally, she achieved a first-grade diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition, Pusa, New Delhi, during the same period.

Hina Nagarajan’s professional journey includes an impressive tenure at Diageo, where she has been a member of the Global Executive Committee for 5 years and 5 months, holding the positions of Managing Director and CEO of Diageo India. As of July 2021, she assumed the role of CEO-Designate for Diageo India. Prior to her current role, she served as Managing Director for Africa Emerging Markets, based in London, United Kingdom, from August 2018 to March 2021.
Before her time at Diageo, Hina Nagarajan gained valuable experience at Reckitt, where she held the position of Senior Vice President and Regional Director for North Asia in Beijing City, China, from July 2015 to June 2018. She also served as the Managing Director and Board Member for RB operations in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan during the same period. Earlier in her career, she served as the General Manager for Malaysia & Singapore and as Managing Director for RB Operations in Malaysia and Singapore.

She held the position of Business Manager, Infant Nutrition and Milk, at Nestle India Ltd for over 13 years, from June 1987 to September 2000, where she had P&L responsibility for Infant Nutrition and Milk.
