Ghalib Guru is one of the bright students from Kashmir. He is the son of Afzal Guru, the hanged convict of the Indian Parliament attack which took place on 13 December 2001.

EDUCATION
According to sources, Ghalib received 94.8 percent in the 10th class Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (BOSE) tests, placing him 19th in the entire state.
Ghalib passed his 12th class Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) test at SRM Welkins School in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir, with 88%. The Tribune On the day of his class 12th result, Ghalib expressed his joy and conveyed his ambition to become a doctor, which was his father’s goal. “We learn from our mistakes,” he remarked. “My father was unable to continue his medical profession (at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences), and I want to finish it.”
According to sources, after finishing his education, Ghalib went on to prepare for the NEET examination, for which he joined in a coaching centre in Srinagar; however, he was unable to pass it. The Tribune Later, he decided to study for civil service exams. His excellent grades earned him a scholarship to attend one of Turkey’s universities and pursue a degree in Medical Science.
