PERSONAL INFORMATION
Chetan Salunkhe was born in 1999 into a lower-middle-class Marathi family in Pune, Maharashtra. He is also known by the nicknames Chain and Popping Badshah. Salunkhe grew up in the City of Pune’s slums. Chetan developed an interest in dancing at a young age. He used to dance on the streets of his neighbourhood as a child, and he was frequently praised by the residents.
Chetan Salunkhe used to imitate the dance moves of celebrities such as Prabhu Deva, Govinda, and Michael Jackson.
He describes himself as a self-taught dancer. Chetan began participating in various dance shows on the advice of his friends and relatives.
Salunkhe’s mother works as a housekeeper because his father cannot work due to leg problems.
He is very close to his mother and attributes all of his success to her.
Chetan Salunkhe enjoys getting tattooed. He has the word “Mom” in English alphabets tattooed on his right arm. Chetan also has a crown tattoo on his chest with the word “Badshah” beneath it.

CAREER
Chetan appeared in Dance Maharashtra Dance, a dance reality show that aired on ZEE Yuva in 2018.
Then he auditioned for Dance Plus 4, another dance reality show that aired on Star Plus. He was not chosen in the first three auditions. However, he was chosen in his fourth audition.
On Dance Plus 4, he received overwhelming support from both the audience and his friends and relatives, particularly his grandmother, who had actively campaigned for him. He was named the winner of the dance TV reality show “Dance Plus 4” in February 2019. He received a trophy as well as Rs. 25 lakh in prize money.
Following his victory, he stated that he would like to use his prize money to purchase a new home for his family.
