When the crew of the popular Indian serial Beyhadh came to shoot in Mauritius in 2016, Kushal had the opportunity to participate as a figurant.

In 2019, Kushal played a villain in the Mauritian film “Sans Twa Pena Mwa,” which was produced locally by Himster Productions.

Kushal Awatarsing won the best politician TikTok Awards for the TikTok Awards Night organised by Radioplus on December 23rd, 2019. (Mauritius).

He also appeared as the main villain in the short film Bullied 2, which was produced by Himster Productions for the Mauritius Film Development Corporation’s 7 Days Challenge competition and was released on February 5, 2020. In 2022, Kushal was cast as a Cargo Officer in the Bollywood film Shehzada, directed by Rohit Dhawan, which is a Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, starring Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon.
