EDUCATION

Aashna Chaudhary began her academic journey at St. Xavier’s School in Pilkhuwa, Uttar Pradesh, where she pursued her studies from class 1 to class 8. From 2012 to 2014, she continued her schooling at St. Mary’s School in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2016, she enrolled in humanities studies at Delhi Public School in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Aashna showcased her academic excellence by securing an impressive 96.5% in her class 12 examinations.

Moving forward, Aashna pursued her passion for English Literature (British and Commonwealth) through a Bachelor of Arts Honours program at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, located in New Delhi. After completing her undergraduate degree, she further expanded her knowledge and expertise by pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations at the esteemed South Asian University, also situated in New Delhi.

CAREER

Upon successfully completing her graduation, Aashna Chaudhary desired a hiatus from her studies to dedicate time to prepare for her forthcoming post-graduation examinations. It was during this break that her family members recommended she consider preparing for civil service examinations. Despite encountering initial setbacks, with two unsuccessful attempts, Aashna persevered and diligently worked on rectifying the gaps in her preparation. Finally, on her third endeavor, she achieved a significant milestone by clearing the UPSC exam in 2022 with an impressive total of 992 marks (827 in the written exam and 165 in the personal interview).

In her pursuit of success, Aashna chose Anthropology as her optional subject for the UPSC exam, showcasing her interest in the field and her dedication to mastering the subject matter.
Aashna committed herself unwaveringly, devoting 12 to 14 hours every day to her studies, all while pursuing her master’s degree. In the beginning, she enrolled in a coaching center to prepare for the exam, but after a few months, she made the decision to discontinue the coaching. Nevertheless, she successfully cleared the UPSC examination without relying on any external guidance. Within a span of 2-3 months, she strategically utilized social media platforms to enhance her preparation.
She has also worked for an NGO.
