Abhishek Banerjee, born on November 15, 1988, in New Delhi, India, is an accomplished Indian actor and casting director.
EDUCATION
Banerjee completed his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Andrews Ganj, Delhi, and graduated from Kirori Mal College, part of the University of Delhi. At Kirori Mal, he joined the dramatic society, which fueled his passion for acting.

CAREER
Banerjee’s acting debut came with the acclaimed Hindi film “Rang De Basanti” (2006), where he played a college student auditioning for a documentary. Alongside acting, he began his career in casting, working as a casting assistant for “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai” (2010) and “Knock Out” (2010). His talent was recognized by Milan Luthria, who enlisted him as part of the casting team for “The Dirty Picture” (2011), featuring Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi, and Naseeruddin Shah.
