CAREER

Prior to his role at Microsoft, Ahmed Mazhari had a notable career at Genpact, a global professional services firm specializing in digital transformation. He served as the Chief Growth Officer for 3 years and 6 months, from September 2016 to February 2020, in London, United Kingdom. In this capacity, Mazhari led the global Sales and Client Relationships teams, overseeing the company’s revenue growth across various industry verticals, products, service lines, and geographies. He also had responsibilities for Brand, Communication, Marketing, and partnerships and alliances with strategic service providers.

Before his role as Chief Growth Officer, Ahmed Mazhari was the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Sales and Client Relationships at Genpact for 2 years and 11 months, from October 2013 to August 2016. In this position, he continued to lead the global Sales and Client Relationships teams, with a focus on strengthening the sales strategy in line with client needs and expectations. He worked on expanding the sales team, attracting talent, and driving sales force effectiveness for both existing and new accounts.

Earlier in his career, he held the position of Senior Vice President, Head Sales & Marketing, and CO-head Europe at Genpact for 4 years and 9 months, from January 2009 to September 2013. In this role, Mazhari led a pan-European team of commercial and technical experts, overseeing marketing and lead generation for Europe. He also had global delivery responsibilities for three large accounts with an annual revenue base of over $50 million.

Before joining Genpact, Ahmed Mazhari worked at GE Capital, where he held various roles, including Global Head Infrastructure and Business Continuity from February 2002 to December 2004, and Global Operation and Relationship Lead from January 2000 to January 2002. He was also involved in setting up and running the Reinsurance delivery for GE during this period.

Ahmed Mazhari started his career as an Operations Manager for the GE-SBI JV, where he was part of the launch team that set up and launched the Bank Card of a joint venture between GE Capital and the State Bank of India.

 

Throughout his career, Ahmed Mazhari has demonstrated leadership and expertise in various aspects of business, including sales, client relationships, marketing, and global operations.
