Akash first appeared in the Channel V’s episodic TV serial Dare to Date season 3, Episode 31 (2014). He also appeared in India’s first-ever reality show based on a social experiment that explores the relationship between the sexes- Arre’ hi ja Re- gender. He won Mr. India Worldwide Pageant 2016.
He participated in Indian youth based reality show – Splitsvilla, In 2017.
