After dating Divya Punetha for nearly eight years, the couple married on June 19, 2021 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, despite the COVID-19 restrictions. In Uttarakhand, Divya works as a gynaecologist and obstetrician.
He was born into a Chauhan dynasty Hindu Rajput family. His clan is Bhimawat, and he belongs to the Sanchora Rajput sub-clan.
EDUCATION
Akshay Kharodia attended Maheshwari Public School in Kota, Rajasthan, and is a medical student. He also went to Allen Career Institute in Kota, Rajasthan. He studied film production and film direction at Graphic Era Hill University in Uttarakhand in 2016. He later studied at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune.
CAREER
He began his career as a film director, assisting a few directors for nearly five years. He was then approached to work as a model in a television commercial. Later, he appeared in print advertisements for well-known brands such as Big Bazaar, Max, and Rexona. Akshay has also appeared in a number of television commercials, including one for Kalyan Jewellers with the legendary Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan.
He made his acting debut in 2019 with the Hindi film ‘Kandy Twist,’ but he did not achieve much success. He was then cast in the Star Plus TV series ‘Pandy Store’ (2021), alongside Kinshuk Mahajan, Shiny Doshi, and Kanwar Dhillon.
He starred alongside Morgane Ferru and Sevn Schelker in the Hollywood film ‘Tomorrow You Will Be Dead’ in 2021. Akshay has also appeared in a few music videos, including Sameer Khan’s ‘Ek Bewaffa’ (2021) and Manu Singh’s ‘Chitta Parada’ (2021).
