During this period, he advised leading Indian and foreign banks on business strategy, entry and portfolio strategy, and significantly improved on-ground profitability through large-scale pan-India implementation, impacting numerous branches. Leading consulting teams, collaborating directly with CXOs, and earning numerous accolades, he progressed to head the strategy function in ANZ Bank under the India CEO. Here, he played a key role in formulating the India strategy and successfully securing two additional India branch licenses from the RBI. Beyond his professional achievements, he also won a badminton championship in school, showcasing his passion for playing squash.
