Anila Kharbanda is a TV serial actress and assistant director from India. She is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows such as Aladdin – Nam Toh Suna Hoga, Ek Anokhi Rakshak Naagkanya, Vighnaharta Ganesha, and many others. She also made her acting debut in the drama Mera Desh Bulaye Re, which aired on DD Kissan.

Anila Kharbanda was born in Delhi on November 27, 1991. She is from a Hindu family. She stated in an interview that she comes from a family with a medical background.
Kishore Kharbanda is her father’s name, and he is a doctor.
Rama Kharbanda is her mother’s name.
Akhil Kharbanda is her identical twin brother.
Anila Kharabanda married Pratik Garg, a businessman from Chattisgarh, on July 8, 2022 in Kashmir.
They previously announced their engagement on April 10, 2022.
EDUCATION
Anila attended Springdales School in Delhi and later graduated from Mumbai with a degree in Media and Communication Studies. In 2012, she interned at a well-known radio station called BIG 92.7 FM. She began working at Endemol Portugal, a broadcasting and media production company, after graduating.

CAREER
Working her magic in the theatres, Anila had been a part of several theatrical performances in her younger days. Even though she had performed in theatres, she had no desire to pursue acting as a career. Anila worked on numerous plays with renowned artists such as Shabana Azmi during her theatre career. Anila Kharbanda is also a member of the IPTA, or Indian People’s Theatre Association. Anila had also collaborated with M. S. Sathyu, the director of the 1974 drama film Garam Hawa, on one of her plays.
Anila Kharbanda was more interested in designing and making costumes than in acting. Anila has been in the industry for nearly a decade, primarily as a stylist for renowned filmmakers such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In the film Mann Bairagi, she worked as a costume designer. She also worked as an in-house stylist at Fireworks Productions.
Anila Kharbanda has also gained professional experience by working as an Assistant Director for a number of well-known media and production companies. Her first job as an Assistant Director was with Sunshine Pictures, and in 2013, she joined the Raisina Post as an Assistant Director.
In 2021, she was offered a role in the TV series Sondhi Sondhi Khushboo Pyaar Ki. Anila Kharbanda later appeared in Dangal TV’s Crime-Drama serial, Crime Alert, in 2021. In the same year, she accepted a role in the daily soap Na Jaana Pardes.
Anila Kharbanda also played the role of Sukanya in the Dangal TV daily soap Ek Anokhi Rakshak Naagkanya.
Anila Kharbanda was cast as the lead in the television drama Mera Desh Bulaye Re, which aired on the channel DD Kissan in 2021.
