EDUCATION
Anshu Varshney earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Aligarh Muslim University in 2005 and her MBA from Symbiosis University in Pune in 2011.
CAREER
Anshu served as a primary school teacher in Delhi Public School, Noida, and subsequently at Harvest International School till 2016. She subsequently decided to pursue a modelling career, and she became a very successful model, performing several photo sessions and runway walks for many designers. In 2018, she competed in Mrs. India, finishing as the runner-up.
She made her debut in the music video for Mahi Mera Ve, with Praveen Purena, in 2019. She made her debut as a cameo in the mega popular film Good Newswz., starring Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani, the same year. She also appears in the comedy programme Happu Ki Ulti Paltan and Mentalhood, a web sitcom on Alt Balaji starring Karisma Kapoor. The programme is about parenthood in urban areas. Apart from performing, she also owns the Avatka business, which is known for its handcrafted accessories. She is also the organization’s Head of Design.
