Anshula Kapoor was born on December 29, 1992, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. A member of the Khatri family, she is the offspring of the late producer Mona Shourie Kapoor and film producer Boney Kapoor. Tragically, her parents separated when she was just 4 years old. Following Mona Kapoor’s passing from cancer on March 25, 2012, Boney Kapoor later remarried the late legendary actress Sridevi, who also passed away on February 24, 2018. Arjun Kapoor, Sridevi’s elder brother and a prominent actor, faced an untimely demise in Dubai. Anshula’s half-sisters are Khushi Kapoor and Jhanvi Kapoor.
EDUCATION
Anshula Kapoor pursued her education at Ecole Mondiale World School in Juhu, Mumbai, and later graduated from Barnard College in New York City with a B.A. She excelled academically, receiving Certificates of Merit for Academic Excellence in 2005, 2006, and 2007. Anshula showcased her prowess in geography, English language and literature, and chemistry. Notably, she was honored with the Head of Middle Years Award for outstanding performance in the ninth and tenth standards and received the Community Service Award in 2007. Passionate about global affairs, she served as the executive director for the Model UN society from 2006 to 2007.
Anshula Kapoor, a high achiever in academics, also harbored a keen interest in the performing arts from a young age. While employed at Google, she actively participated as the lead actor in various theatrical productions, including notable plays like Bhagwad Ajjukam, The Night of January 16th, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Oedipus, and A Thousand Cranes.
