CAREER
In addition to his role as Vice Chancellor, Dr. Choudhary also serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors for Jodhpur Discom (Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited). Here, he oversaw the “System LSI” Business Unit R&D and played a pivotal role in the development of System on Chip (SoC) solutions for mobile and automotive markets.
Dr. Choudhary’s journey at Samsung Electronics included multiple leadership positions, such as Director of Samsung Semiconductor India R & D Center (August 2016 – February 2019) and Director/General Manager at SAIT-India Lab (July 2010 – June 2014). His contributions in these roles focused on areas like low-power communication, next-gen WiFi, reconfigurable processors, and more, contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge technologies.
Prior to his tenure at Samsung, he was an Engineering Manager at Texas Instruments from February 2006 to July 2010, where he managed multiple functional domains and teams for mobile software development within the Wireless Terminal Business Unit.
