Rajkumar Santhoshi’s next Bollywood flick Gandhi Godse-Ek Yudh is helmed by the great filmmaker. Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, which was released in 2013 and was regarded a commercial flop at the box office, was the latter’s most recent directorial.
Deepak Antani, Chinmay Mandlekar, and Pawan Chopra will play the lead roles in the film.
STORYLINE
The film highlights the conflict between Mohandas Gandhi’s and Nathuram Godse’s diametrically opposed ideas. According to reports, Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh is set in 1947 and 1948 and is based on Asghar Wajahat’s play on communal issues, cultural assimilation, democracy, and growth.
