PERSONAL INFORMATION
On January 18, 1990, Gaurav Alugh was born in Delhi, India. He is a member of a Hindu family. Former naval captain Upendra Kumar Alugh is his father. Pooja Alugh, his mother, is a housewife. Bhanvi Alugh is a sister of Gaurav.
EDUCATION
Gaurav Alugh attended St. Columba’s School in New Delhi and St. George’s College in Mussoorie for his education. Alugh attended the University of Delhi after he finished high school to study economics with honours. Additionally, Gaurav studied at the Gurgaon-based Indian Institute of Learning and Advanced Development (INLEAD).
CAREER
Gaurav Alugh completed a professional acting course at Delhi’s Barry John’s Acting Studio since he had always wanted to be an artist. He has participated as an actor in a few theatre shows, short films, and modelling jobs. Before competing in “Roadies,” he briefly worked as a brand consultant and manager for FAT Chef.
Gaurav made his television debut on “MTV Roadies X4,” a juvenile reality programme. He became well-liked by the fans and finished in the top three of Roadies X4.
After that, he had an appearance in the “24” season 2 finale as a “policeman.” He then portrayed “Shrewd Tenant,” the lead character in “Savdhan India.” In the online series “Bombae,” he played the primary character’s ex-boyfriend.
He has appeared in the “Kitna Tadpa Hun” music video in the “Go Oil” TV commercial. In short films like “Notification,” “Patti,” and “Tiny Shorts,” he has also appeared.
In the supernatural drama “Qayamat Ki Raat,” he portrayed “Vikaas Thakur.”
He also enjoys writing songs, poems, and scripts in addition to acting. Even part of the dialogue for a few advertisements and short films was written by him.
He participated as a wild card contestant in the 11th season of MTV’s dating reality series “Splitsvilla” in 2018, and he and his closest friend Shruti Sinha won the competition.
