Gautam Patel is also a Co-Founder of Zodius Technology Fund and Zodius Technologies Opportunities Fund, a position he has held since 2011. These funds are involved in investing in technology, digital, fintech/BFSI, tech services, and analytics companies, covering both early growth and growth-stage companies. The Zodius Portfolio includes notable companies such as Pepperfry, BigBasket, FreshMenu, Zivame, Allygrow, Antuit, OfBusiness, MedGenome, MarketsandMarkets, Culture Machine, and ZyFin.
He has experience as an Advisor at Battery Ventures from 2010 to 2013 and represented Battery Investee Company TechProcess Payment Solutions, which was later sold to Ingenico in 2016.
Gautam Patel served as a Partner at iGATE Global Solutions from 2007 to 2010, where he held the position of Head of UK and Europe. He also worked as the Director of Business Development at MphasiS from 2002 to 2004 and as a Vice President at EVentures India / 3Genesis from 1999 to 2001, both based in Mumbai.
His career began as an Associate at IndOcean Chase Capital from 1996 to 1998 and an Analyst at Lazard Freres & Co. in the United States from 1994 to 1996.
