Hasleen Kaur was born on Thursday, 10 November 1988 in Binnaguri cantonment, Jalpaiguri district, West Bengal. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio.
Her father, Sarabjit Singh, is a retired Colonel of the Indian Army.
Her mother, Ikwinder Singh, is the Principal at Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj. Her elder brother’s name is Harsimran Singh.
Her husband, Amber Rana, is a Delhi-based lawyer and the host of the IVM podcasts. The couple got married to each other on 23 December 2018.
She dated Amber Rana for some time before getting married to him.
EDUCATION
After completing her schooling at Delhi Public School (DPS) in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, in 2007, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in English literature at Jesus and Mary College in Delhi. After earning her bachelor’s degree in 2009, Hasleen enrolled at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication in Delhi and earned a post-graduate diploma in Advertisement, Public Relations, and Applied Communication in 2010. She later enrolled at the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) for an acting course.

CAREER
Hasleen Kaur made her acting debut in Bollywood with the 2009 film Love Aaj Kal in which she played the role of the lead character Harleen’s sister.
According to several sources, Hasleen was offered the lead role of a prostitute named Chanda in the 2009 Bollywood film Dev D. She, however, rejected the offer as she did not want her first lead role to be bold. In 2014, she landed the lead role of a character named Preet in the Hindi film Karle Pyaar Karle.
In 2022, she appeared in a Bollywood film titled Mili as a character named Hasleen. She reportedly took Rs 55 Lacs for the film.
She made her web series debut with CAT, which was released on 9 December 2022. In the series, she played the role of a Punjab Police cop named Babita Masih. She appeared alongside Randeep Hooda.
Hasleen Kaur started her modelling career when she was studying. In 2011, she participated in the Pantaloons Femina Miss India beauty pageant, where she was the first runner-up. She then represented India at Femina Miss Earth, where she was crowned Femina Miss India Earth by Nicole Faria on 3 December 2011.
Later, she was signed by a Mumbai-based talent management agency named Kwan. In 2011, she was featured on the cover of Femina fashion magazine. Hasleen likes the French style of dressing up. She also likes simple red lipstick on beige, white, flowy, and well-fitted outfits. In 2016, she walked the ramp during Lakme Fashion Week.
In 2018, she was featured on the cover of two fashion magazines titled L’Officiel and The Bazaar Beauty.
