CAREER
Jean-Jacques Barbéris initiated his career at the General Directorate of the Treasury, focusing on climate-related economic issues and financial markets from 2008 to 2012. During this period, he represented the French state on the Enforcement Committee of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). In 2012, he joined the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, contributing to business financing and the establishment of Banque Public d’Investissement. Following his role as an economic advisor to the French president from 2013 to 2016, he joined Amundi in 2016 as Head of Sovereign Clients and later became Head of Institutional Clients in 2017. Since 2019, he has held the position of Head of Institutional and Corporate Clients, overseeing Amundi’s activities in the Middle East and the Nordics.
