Her father, Ajaypal Singh Banga, holds the position of President and Chief Executive Officer at Mastercard. Her mother, Ritu Banga, completes her immediate family. Jojo has a sister named Aditi Banga, and together they form a tight-knit sibling bond. Additionally, she is the cherished granddaughter of Harbhajan Singh Banga and Jaswant Banga. Jojo concluded her secondary education at the esteemed Marymount School of New York in the year 2000. Subsequently, she embarked on her academic journey at the prestigious Harvard College, commencing her undergraduate studies in 2009. Demonstrating her dedication and intellectual prowess, Jojo graduated Magna Cum Laude with high honors in the year 2013. Building upon her foundation of knowledge, she pursued a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, successfully completing her degree in 2019.

CAREER

Jojo embarked on her professional journey as a marketing analyst at Sierra Mist, a company specializing in lemon-lime flavored soft drinks. Joining the company in July 2014, she dedicated her efforts for a period of 10 months. Seeking new opportunities, Jojo transitioned to PepsiCo, an American multinational food and beverage corporation, where she assumed the role of a senior marketing analyst in April 2015. Afterward, in July 2016, she transitioned to Peloton Interactive, where she served as a manager, contributing her expertise for slightly over a year. However, it was in July 2019 that Jojo found her calling at the American Civil Rights Union (ACLU), joining as a leadership fellow. Since then, she has remained committed to her role, actively contributing to the organization’s endeavors.
