EDUCATION
Jose Thattil’s educational background includes a Masters in Management Studies from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), where he completed his studies from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Mumbai University.
CAREER
Prior to founding Phi Commerce, Jose Thattil gained extensive experience at ElectraCard Services, a MasterCard Co., where he worked for 14 years from November 2010 to December 2014. In this tenure, he held the position of Sales – Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, contributing to the company’s global outreach. Before that, he served as Global Product Manager from September 2008 to November 2010, based in Sydney, Australia.
Before his international roles, Jose Thattil held significant positions in Mumbai, India. He worked as Business Solutions – Head at ElectraCard Services from October 2004 to September 2008, showcasing his leadership and strategic planning abilities. Prior to that, he served as AVP – Technology at ICICI Bank for over three years, from June 1997 to January 2001.
His diverse professional journey, spanning various roles and locations, reflects his expertise in technology, management, and business solutions within the financial and technology sectors.
