King aka King Rocco was born in 1998 in Uttar Pradesh, King, aka Arpan Kumar Chandel, eventually moved to Delhi. He attended a government school for his education. He used to post his rap videos on different social media platforms while he was still in high school and college. Rani Chandel is his mother’s maiden name, while Ashok Chandel is his father.According to reports, he dated a girl in 2018, but the two eventually broke up.

He launched his “King Rocco” YouTube page in 2012, and in 2015, he posted his first video, “Boombass.” In 2019, he was awarded a silver play button for his YouTube account. He released his debut music album, “Circumstances,” on October 5. The CD includes songs like “She Know,” “Red Dirt State,” “The Divison,” and “Clearly By Now,” among others.
He worked in the public sector prior to pursuing a career as a professional singer and rapper. He gave a test for the MTV Hustle TV reality programme in 2019. He submitted his digital audition and his rap videos to the MTV Hustle producers. He was then chosen for the audition round’s final round, which was assessed by Raftaar, Raja Kumari, Nucleya, and Naezy, four well-known Indian rappers. King became the first participant to reach the Top 15 with his performance of the song “Mai Khoya Rahu” during the audition round. He was one of the top five competitors on the show.
