CAREER
Upon completing his schooling, Manuj Jindal made a decision to join the National Defence Academy, aiming to serve his country. However, his aspirations were cut short due to a back injury, prompting him to alter his plans. He then set his sights on pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in the United States and secured admission to the prestigious University of Virginia. Despite facing financial constraints, Manuj was determined to continue his education and took a loan to support his studies.
After completing his degree, he ventured into the corporate world and dedicated four years to a corporate job. Through diligent efforts and hard work, he successfully repaid all his loans. Undeterred by initial setbacks, Manuj displayed resilience and a strong will to achieve his dream of becoming an IAS officer.
Cracking the UPSC exam proved to be a challenging endeavor for him. In his first attempt, he did not secure any service, while in the second attempt, although he cleared the exam, he was not allocated the prestigious IAS rank. Instead, he was offered a position in the Indian Post and Telecom Accounts and Finance Service. However, feeling unsatisfied with this position, he resolved to give the UPSC exam another shot.
With his unwavering determination, Manuj persevered and ultimately secured an impressive rank of 53 in the civil service list, fulfilling his goal of becoming an IAS officer.
