Mohammed Azeem is an Indian actor, anchor, and VJ best known for his work in Tamil television shows. He is well-known for his role as Arjun in the Star Vijay television series Pagal Nilavu (May 2016). Azeem competed in the Tamil version of the reality television show Bigg Boss season 6 on Star Vijay in October 2022, which he won in January 2023.

Azeem attended Chennai’s Asan Memorial Matric Higher Secondary School. At D. G. Vaishnav College in Chennai, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. After graduating, Azeem enrolled at Loyola College in Chennai to pursue a Master of Science degree in visual communication.

CAREER
Azeem worked as a radio jockey for Radio One, an Indian commercial radio network, during his college years. Before pursuing an acting career, Azeem began working as a video jockey (VJ) for a Zee Tamil television show in 2008. After two years on Zee Tamil, he moved to Moon TV in 2010 as a producer-cum-host for a television show. Azeem worked as an anchor for a Sun TV show in 2012.
Azeem made his Jaya TV debut in 2012 as Ashwin alongside Vani Bhojan in the television show Maya.
In 2013, he appeared on Star Vijay in two television shows, Pirivom Santhippom as Karthi and Deivam Thandha Veedu as Charan. Azeem rose to prominence in May 2016 when he starred as Arjun in the Star Vijay television show Pagal Nilavu.
Later, he appeared in a few shows, including Niram Maratha Pookkal on Zee Tamil as Ramakrishnan (2019), Kadaikutty Singam on Star Vijay as Maruthu (2019), and Poove Unakkaga on Sun TV as Kathiravan Shivanarayanan (2021).
Azeem appeared on Star Vijay in season 10 of the dance reality show Jodi Number One: Fun Unlimited with Shivani Narayanan in 2018. The show’s contestants, who competed in pairs, were television industry celebrities. The show’s third runner-ups were Azeem and Shivani.
Azeem appeared as an entrant in the sixth season of Bigg Boss Tamil on Star Vijay in October 2022. On 22 January 2023, he received the Big Boss Tamil season 6 winner’s trophy and a cheque for Rs. 50 lakhs.
