During the early 1990s, as India embarked on economic deregulation, Mr. Nath served as the principal legal advisor to major foreign investors such as TetraPak, Swisscom, BMW, and Bechtel. He held directorship positions on the boards of various Indian companies affiliated with his clients.
When India liberalized its aviation sector for private players, RNC Legal, under Mr. Nath’s guidance, secured a pivotal role in the first Indian transaction for one of the world’s leading lessors.
