Noor Malabika was a talented Indian TV actress and model, originally from Assam, whose life and career were tragically cut short in June 2024.


Noor Malabika Das was born in 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. A Scorpio by zodiac sign, she completed her education at the Jettwings School of Aviation, where she specialized in Aviation and Management.

Noor Malabika came from a Bengali family. Her parents reside in Assam. She had two siblings: an elder sister named Mousami Das Chowdhury and a brother whose name is not known. Noor was unmarried at the time of her death. A follower of Hinduism, Noor belonged to the Brahmin caste.

On June 6, 2024, Noor Malabika Das was found deceased in her Lokhandwala, Mumbai flat. She was 37 years old. Her death, ruled as a suicide by hanging, has sparked significant concern regarding the mental health crisis in the Indian film industry. The All Indian Cine Workers Association has called for a thorough investigation by Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Honourable Shri Eknath Shinde, and Home Minister, Honourable Shri Devendra Fadnavis, urging them to consider all possibilities, including foul play.

Noor Malabika’s untimely death highlights the urgent need for addressing mental health issues and the pressures faced by individuals in the entertainment industry.
