Prashanth Sambargi began working as a direct selling agent in Bangalore in 2001. He began working for Reliance Infocomm as a DSA-CDMA technician in 2002 and stayed for nearly 6 years. He then worked in the sales and marketing department at Reliance World before moving on to the business development department. He became a partner in the real estate brokerage firm ‘Mars Realty’ in 2009. He also owns a real estate company called ‘VIP Square.’ He was the media manager for South Indian actor Arjun Sarja. He has also worked as a brand builder and advertising technician in several films. In 2021, he appeared on Colors Kannada’s popular TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss Kannada 8’.
Sruthi Hariharan, a South Indian actress, filed two police complaints in Bengaluru in 2018 accusing Prashanth Sambargi of threatening to kill her.
The Central Crime Branch in Bengaluru issued him a notice in 2020 to investigate his involvement in the Kannada film industry’s drug menace. Prashanth claimed in the statement that South Indian actress Sanjjanaa Galrani (accused in the drug case) and Congress MLA Ahmed Khan knew each other well and had met previously on 8 June 2019 at a casino. Ahmed refuted all such rumours and filed a complaint against Prashant for spreading them.
