R. Dinesh, the fourth generation TVS Family member, is the Managing Director of TVS Supply Chain Solutions.

In addition, he serves as director for several joint ventures and subsidiaries of T V Sundram Iyengar & Sons Private Limited and as co-managing director of that company. He is the designated president of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the two-year period 2022–2023. Prior to this, he held the positions of Chairman of the National Committees on Logistics, Chairman of the CII Institute of Logistics Advisory Council, Chairman of the CII Tamil Nadu State Council, and Chairman of the CII Family Business Network India Chapter Council. AWARDS AND HONOURS
Dinesh has received numerous honours, including the title of “Icon of the Year” from the ICT Academy of Tamilnadu, India, in 2018 and the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” award for the “Services” category in 2017. Dinesh has a degree in commerce and is a member in good standing of both the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
