CAREER

Raushan Hammond won a Young Artist Award for his performance as Thud Butt, the Lost Boy who became their leader at the end of the 1991 film Hook. In addition, he was nominated for the Young Artist Award for outstanding actor under the age of ten in a feature film.

Hook was Hammond’s first film job, and he went on to appear in a few television guest parts in the early 1990s, including the 15th episode of the then-new series ER. Other shows in which he appeared included Tales from the Crypt, Hangin’ with Mr Cooper, and Family Matters. His roles in Crypt and Cooper were both nominated for Young Artist Awards for best young television guest performer. He afterwards became a magician. He was directing a feature film in 2009.
