Rinze Verbeek is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Orient Growth Ventures, a venture capital fund of funds focused on investments in South East Asia and India. He has been in this role since April 2019 and is based in Breda, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands.
EDUCATION
Rinze Verbeek’s educational background includes a program in Private Equity at London Business School in 2013 and a Doctorandus degree in Economics from Tilburg University, which he completed in 1995. He was actively involved in EFACT during his time at Tilburg University. Rinze’s educational journey began with studies at Noetsele from 1984 to 1990.
CAREER
Additionally, Rinze serves on the Advisory Board of ElastIQ-Connect | The Fitlance Company, a position he has held since July 2018, and is a Co-Founder of Birdview Management, a role he has undertaken since October 2020. He is also the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Lepelenburg, a fund of funds, since April 2017, located in Utrecht.
Rinze Verbeek is actively involved in various roles, including serving as a Board Member for Stichting Buzz Women, part of Buzz India, a position he has held since January 2018. He is the Founder of rinZvest BV since October 2009.
His previous experience includes a role as an Advisory Board Member for Musoni, a MicroFinance Institute that operates in Kenya and other East African countries, utilizing mobile payment techniques to provide microfinance loans to underserved communities. He also served as a Senior Private Equity Manager at Fidessa NV and as a Director (Vice President) at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where he worked for over a decade.
