Rishikesh SR is the Co-Founder of Rapido, a ride-sharing platform based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. He has been in this role since November 2015. EDUCATION
In terms of education, Rishikesh SR graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer and Information Sciences from PES University in June 2010. He attended PES University, specifically the Bangalore South Campus of PESIT (PES Institute of Technology).
CAREER
Prior to his role at Rapido, Rishikesh SR was the Co-Founder of theKarrier from November 2014 to October 2015. TheKarrier is an intracity truck aggregator that facilitates transportation to customers’ doorsteps. It focuses on bringing structure to the intra-city logistics space for trucks by combining technology and a robust network of individual owners.
Before his involvement with theKarrier, Rishikesh SR founded IMPStant in 2014, a technology company that pioneered India’s first IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) based wallet service. This service allowed users to conduct transactions directly from the sender’s account to the receiver’s account without the need to preload the wallet with money.
