His father served as the Defense Minister of India from March 13, 2017, to September 3, 2017, and as the Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs of the Government of India from 2014 to 2019. Unfortunately, Arun Jaitley passed away on August 24, 2019, after a prolonged battle with Sarcoma.
Rohan’s mother, Sangeeta Jaitley, is the daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir finance minister Girdhari Lal Dogra. He has an elder sister, Sonali, who is also a lawyer and is married to lawyer Jaiyesh Bakhshi. In 2020, Rohan Jaitley tied the knot with Meherunnisa Anand, the daughter of Alka and Jaideep Anand. CAREER
In October 2020, Rohan assumed the role of President at the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). His leadership was reaffirmed when he was re-elected as DDCA’s President for a second term in October 2021, securing victory by garnering a total of 1,658 votes. Prior to his tenure as DDCA President, Rohan had a successful legal practice in both the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court.
