CAREER

Sammy Jonas Heaney plays the European/American in Bollywood films seen by the world’s 1.4 billion Indians. He is now appearing in three Netflix films: ‘High End Yaariyaan’ as Ram, ‘The Girl on the Train’ as Reece (Netflix original), and ‘Tuesdays and Fridays’.
He presently co-stars in some Indian TV shows such as ‘Tuashiqui’ (3 episodes only), Swaraj, Chat Puja In London, Laugh Before Wicket Cricket Show, and is most well-known for his appearance in ‘America’s Rising Stars,’ which will air on American television (2021). He will also appear in Hollywood-Bollywood episode 1 titled ‘Pagal Foreigner,’ a comedy about a boy who gets lost in India and the fascinating culture he discovers.
Sammy was discovered by international talent scout Sahil Bk, who was looking for flexible performers with a ‘interesting’ look to work with India’s biggest stars (some of which also played various roles in Hollywood movies such as Slumdog Millionaire, Jurassic Park, Quantico series, Baywatch etc)
Sammy initially appeared in the multi-million dollar film ‘Welcome to New York,’ starring Karen Johar, Boman Irani, Diljit Dosanj, Lara Dutta, and a cameo by Salman Khan.  Arman Khan then cast Sammy in ‘Quickie,’ a smash hit in India in which he co-starred with Disney star Darsheel Safari. After appearing in ‘The Suite Life of Karen and Kabir’ on Disney Channel India. Malkit Bharj then launched Sammy’s television career on the Indian television show ‘Tuashiqui’ (starring Jannat Zubair). This led to Barri being cast in India’s comedy sketch programme Laugh Before Wicket, which was a big success.
