CAREER
In August 2013, he became the CEO of Hindalco’s Aluminium Business upon joining the Aditya Birla Group. He later held the position of Deputy Managing Director at Hindalco, overseeing its copper business. Before his tenure with the Aditya Birla Group, Mr. Pai spent 28 years working with Schlumberger in Paris.
Additionally, Mr. Pai holds a directorial role at ABB, Zurich. He is a life member of the Indian Institute of Metals, contributes to CII’s Task Force on China, and serves as Vice President and Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee for the Aluminium Association of India. Furthermore, he chairs FICCI’s Non-Ferrous Metals Committee.
