Sawai began doing puppet performances in which he sang for puppets and made puppets dance with his finger abilities, following in his family’s ways. Sawai Bhatt’s father is also a brilliant poppet singer; the first time he watched his son perform on such a huge platform, he fell into tears. In Rajasthan, the father conducts a puppet show for a living. His passion and joy is traditional music. The judges Himesh, Neha, and Vishal jumped up and cheered as Sawai Bhatt introduced the Rajasthani song Kesariya Balam… “I always worried how Mission Impossible 3 would be after Sunny Hindustani and Salman Ali, but finally the solution was discovered,” Himesh said. Sawai has always appreciated music, but his family’s socioeconomic condition has limited his opportunities. He did, however, decide to attend the auditi on with the urging of his buddies. Sawai says that now that mobile TV has come, his time as a puppeteer is done. Sawai has no professional musical training, but he is eager to learn and use his skill to create a new identity for himself.
