EDUCATION
In terms of education, Shiv Sehgal earned a Masters in Banking and Finance from Griffith University in 2001 and completed his Hons in Economics from Delhi University in 2000. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), having received accreditation from the CFA Institute.
ABOUT
Prior to his current role, Shiv served as the Deputy CEO of Capital Markets Advisory at Edelweiss Financial Services Limited from June 2019 to January 2023. During this time, he contributed significantly to the company’s success, accumulating 3 years and 8 months of valuable experience.
Before his tenure at Edelweiss Financial Services, Shiv held the position of Executive Director at Goldman Sachs for nearly five years, from July 2014 to May 2019. His responsibilities at Goldman Sachs were based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Shiv’s career also includes a role as a Trader and CEO of the Singapore office at Artha Capital Management, where he worked from October 2011 to July 2014, accumulating 2 years and 10 months of experience.

He also served as a Trader at Symphony Financial Partners from 2007 to 2009 and at Affinity Capital Partners from 2004 to 2007.
