Shwetambari Soni is an Indian art collector and the founder of the Trinity Art Impact gallery. She is the wife of acclaimed film director Vikram Bhatt, best known for his work on the horror film series ‘Raaz.’
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Shwetambari Ashok Soni was born on October 6, 1970, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her astrological sign is Libra.
Ashok Soni is her father’s name. Poonam Soni, who died in 2012, co-founded the Mumbai restaurant Papa Pancho Da Dhaba with her sister Mamta Sekhri.
Mamta was a fashion designer, whereas Poonam was a lawyer. The sister duo began their entrepreneurial journey when they opened Wild n Whacky, a successful boutique. Following that, in 2000, they decided to venture into food and hospitality with Chaat Café. Later, the cafe evolved into the restaurant Papa Pancho Da Dhaba.
Shwetambari’s elder sister, Priya Soni Kochhar, took over Papa Pancho Da Dhaba after her mother died, along with her maternal aunt Mamta Sekhri. Namrata Soni, Shwetambari’s younger sister, is a celebrity hair and makeup artist and the founder of the cosmetic brand Simply Nam.
Shwetambari Soni has two sons from her first marriage, Adiraj Singh and Arhavirr Singh.
She began dating Bollywood film director Vikram Bhatt in 2017. After three years of dating, the couple married in a secret wedding in September 2020.
The private ceremony took place during the Covid-19 lockdown and was kept secret for about a year. Vikram and Shwetambari’s marriage became public on October 6, 2021, when Vikram posted heartfelt birthday wishes for his partner on his Instagram account. Vikram’s uncle, celebrated Indian filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, later confirmed the news to the press.
Vikram Bhatt previously married Aditi Bhatt. Krishna Bhatt is their daughter from their marriage. Vikram and Aditi divorced in 1988, following Vikram’s extramarital affair with actor-model Sushmita Sen.
EDUCATION
She studied Hotel Management at Rizvi College of Hotel Management in Mumbai. In 2007, she enrolled in a short course at Christie’s in London, a British auction house that also offers fine art storage. She received a Goldman Sachs women entrepreneurship scholarship in 2012 to study business practises at the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad.

CAREER
The short course at Christie’s in London enabled her to leave hotel management and open her own art gallery, ‘Gallererie Angel Arts,’ in 2007, which she runs with her business partner Reshma Jani (former fashion designer). The gallery’s art events are also combined with accessible mediums such as music, fashion, jewellery, and so on. Gallerie Angel Arts, in collaboration with Chivas and VH1, hosted “Art and Music Unplugged” in September 2012 at the J W Marriott in Mumbai.
The gallery’s name was later changed to Trinity Art Impact. Trinity Art Impact offers creative consultancy services to its clients in addition to exhibiting modern, Indian, and contemporary art. D’Decor, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Oberoi Realty are among the corporate clients for whom the company has completed beautification projects. Shwetambari Soni joined Vikram Bhatt, Amar Thakkar, and Vikram’s daughter Krishna Bhatt as directors of Loneranger Productions Private Limited on June 17, 2016. Trinity Arts Impact curated special edition debit cards for Kotak Mahindra Bank in 2019. The debit cards were designed specifically for Kotak Silk customers and feature intricate artwork by celebrated Indian artist Seema Kohli. Feminism, perpetual change, order, strength and fragility, colours and rhythm, melody and exuberance, and myths and legends were all featured in the exclusive artwork.
Trinity Art Impact installed a public beautification landscape project for Mumbai’s Minister of Environment and Tourism, Aaditya Thackeray, in 2020. The project, located in Kalanagar Junction, Mumbai, included a 28,000 sq ft sculpture garden and a model installed in a fountain that reads “BKC.”
On January 31, 2020, she and her partner Reshma Jani established the construction firm Mahalaya Consultancy LLP.
